    Pick a gift

Browse local merchants. Pick the actual item, not a dollar amount.

  2. 02

    Send via messaging

It goes through whatever messaging app you already use. No new app required.

  3. 03

    Gift lands in their phone

Simply save to their phone. Use whenever they want.

  4. 04

Your friend uses at the store

Your friend shows the pass. The clerk taps in a 4-digit PIN. The pass flips to Redeemed. Done.

Pick the latte. Not the dollar amount.

"I picked this for you."

We made picking the specific thing as easy as sending a text. The latte at the cafe she likes. The pastry box from the place down the block. The pottery class she keeps mentioning. A real item, from a real place, sent through your messages.

A few common questions.

What if they use Android?

You can gift to Apple and Android users the same way.

What if they lose the pass?

The original share link keeps working. It isn't single-use and it doesn't expire, so they can reopen it any time and save the pass again.

What if the merchant doesn't have the item that day, or your friend wants something different?

If the item is sold out, the merchant can offer something of equal value. Many shops will also let your friend pick something else, or put the gift toward something pricier and pay the difference — that part is up to the shop.

What if I want my money back?

All sales are final. If something genuinely goes wrong — the shop closed, the merchant didn't honor the gift — we issue platform credit so you can use the value on something else through Gifton.
